1.
Keep the foam microphone as close to your mouth as possible, this will enhance the voice quality and limit ambient noise.

2. Keep the Two way radio as far from the Motorcycle engine as possible. Bike Engines transmit a signal via the Magneto and cause interference over the radio. (Do not keep the Radio in a tank bag, expecially magnetic tank bank). Keeping the radios in a back pack seems to work the the best.

3. Attempt to slow down your speech pattern and pronouce each word carefully. Speaking quickly over a two way radio causes the sound to be very mumbled.

4. Use a key work like "Over" to confirm when you are finished your transmission. This prevents both parties attempting to speak at the same time.
